How has everyone's new year been so far? I would imagine everyone is still going strong with their goals and plans. This year has been full of blessings and some heartache for me, but I know the Lord's hand is in it all. I'm looking forward to what plans HE has in store for the year 2014.

This is such a great idea on how to reuse branches from Christmas trees that are slowly fading away. That way, you can keep the tree around a little bit longer, just in smaller portions ;-)

Gingerbread Latte by From This Kitchen Table
I plan on trying out this recipe very soon. I think my husband will appreciate it too. I'm hoping I make it all the way to the gingerbread latte. A part of me feels like I might use the cold brew to make some iced coffee. Must. Have. Self-control.
