"Tell Me Tuesday" Follow-Up

I wanted to inform all of you awesome bloggers who came here to link up your great ideas to the "Tell Me Tuesday" party to continue your partying over at Lil' Mrs. Tori. I had so much fun co-hosting last week and loved seeing all the wonderful ideas, but you're going to want to visit her page from now on to keep linking up.

That being said, I did want to share some of my favorite ideas that I saw linked up last week. I don't have an official "featured" button for you but I hope that you feel the love nonetheless :-)

I think I was particularly drawn to a lot of the Fall decor ideas. It's only summer here so I like to trick my mind into thinking it's cooler outside by decorating the inside of my house appropriately. Here are a few of the ideas I'm hoping to try out:

If you would like to pin any of these ideas, please don't use my hovering "pin it" button. I know that the creators of these awesome projects would appreciate it if you clicked the link to their post and pinned their projects from the original source :-)

I think decorating with pumpkins is cute but, I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the bright orange color. I do love twine. That's why this Twine Pumpkin Luminary by Flourish is such the perfect combination for me.  Her tutorial is super helpful and she even gives you some tips on what not to do.

I love me some great mantle decorations. These cute Fall Letter Blocks by Maison de Pax would add the perfect touch. I also love the color combo. I think we often decorate with browns, oranges, and reds because of the colors we see outside, but these pastel colors make a great alternative when decorating for the season inside your home.

For months I've had a folded up bundle of burlap sitting on my shelf amongst other cute, patterned fabric scraps. I never knew exactly what I wanted to do with all of it, but what I did know for sure is that I wanted to really love the result, whatever that future project would be. I knew I had found the perfect "next project" when I saw this Fall Burlap Banner by Shelly's Creations. Isn't it adorable?? I'm already trying to decide where I want to hang it and I haven't even made it yet :-)

I'm a fan of printables. I'm also a fan of those who create these wonderful printables for all of us to enjoy. I don't think there's anything wrong in simply printing out the fruit of someone else's labor and framing it (especially if they're giving it to you for free)! You don't always have to spend hours creating a really cute decoration. This cute free Fall Printable by Martha Anne is just simple enough and just colorful enough to grab your attention. I think she chose a great list of words to describe the season as well. Another plus about framed printables, there super easy to change out. You can even keep the printables stacked in back of the frame and just rotate through them.

As I've already mentioned, I'm not a fan of bright orange pumpkins. I thought these Confetti Pumpkins by Made in a Day were the cutest thing ever when I saw them. I love the idea of painting the pumpkins white and then putting some shimmery, gold and bronze confetti on top. I think I can handle decorating with pumpkins if they look this fabulous.

Lastly, what better way to make the inside of my house feel like Fall than filling my home with the aroma of this Pumpkin Pound Cake by The First Year Blog. Yum! It might be a little too hot for me around here to drink a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks but I think I can handle eating some of this pound cake ;-)

Those are some of my favorites! If you think these are awesome, be sure to click the links and leave all these lovely ladies a comment. Thanks again for linking up great ideas!
